Activities for professionals

RETREATS

Silent retreats are conducted by priests of the Prelature of Opus Dei. The retreats are built around conferences given the priest, and talks given by laymen, who are themselves trying to turn their work and family life into a path that leads to God. Mass is celebrated every day as part of the retreat, and there is ample time for personal reflection and prayer.

Our policy is that no one should fail to make a retreat because of the cost. We will be happy to accept time payments or a lower fee, to make it possible for all interested men to attend.

The retreats are held at Murray Hill Place, in Manhattan. For information, including dates and fees, click here, or call (646) 742-2772.

DAYS OF RECOLLECTION

Although only a few hours long, these mini-retreats are an invaluable opportunity to pray and to reflect on our day-to-day lives in light of our faith. Each day of recollection includes a meditation, directed by a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei, as well as a talk designed to help participants find God in their daily lives. The evenings of recollection include exposition and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Days of recollection are held monthly at two locations, one in Princeton and and the other near Philadelphia.
